According to InfoGap's own demand series (source: our own daily industry tracking; definition: one 0-10 score per industry per day, built from search interest and the share of decision-type queries; window: 2026-10-06 to 2026-10-10), 570 Chinese industries are tracked daily, and the hottest industry on the latest day scores 9.2.
What this score actually measures
It measures search intent, not market size. The score is 1 + 9 × ( long-tail coverage × 0.6 + decision share × 0.4 ), on a 0-10 scale.
So why is locksmithing #1? Because every long-tail phrase containing "开锁" is a decision phrase - "how much", "near me", "call out". Its decision share is 1.000, and it carries a full set of long-tails. That is exactly what the score is built to detect.
What it does not tell you: how many people searched, or how much money moves through that industry. A small service with a perfect decision share can outrank a large industry with a slightly noisier one. Use this board to see which way demand is pointing - not to size a market.
The three lists that matter
Hot is not the same as rising. Most data only shows you the first one.

How to read this
- It is a reading, not a forecast. Every row is a recorded score with the day attached.
- "Hot" and "rising" are different questions. List ① shows what has attention now; ② and ③ show which way it is moving. A market at the top of ① can also be at the top of ②.
- Decision share = the fraction of queries that look like a decision rather than idle curiosity. Closer to 100% means the people asking intend to act.
- Names are shown in English and Chinese. The Chinese label is the one people actually search - we keep it beside the translation.
