This life, each stage has things to do and distances that can be calculated.

Experience Begins to Become an Asset

Can the things you've accumulated for twenty years become income?

Can the things you've accumulated for twenty years become income?

Distress→Need→What is an Asset→Desire→Gap→Path

1Distress · What Will They Say

How to allocate assets in middle age
Should I sell the house
Is the insurance enough
How much should I prepare for my child's university education
Should I contribute money for my parents' retirement
Should I do a part-time job
Can my experience be monetized

2Real Need · How to Verify

Not "how to earn more," but "is my experience valuable, and can it be exchanged for income."

Verification Signals (count as valid if two or more are met):
 · Experience is only useful in the original company/industry
 · There is nothing that can be delivered externally
 · Income is 100% dependent on a single employer

3What is the Asset in This Stage

Definition of Asset

This stage, your biggest asset is experience — but it has a trap: it is not an asset if it is only useful in the original environment.

How to judge if it is an asset:
① Can it be used in another company?
② Can it be used in another industry?
③ Is someone willing to pay for it separately?

Only if all three are "yes," it is a real asset. The most valuable action after 40 is to transform experience from "internal experience" to "external thing that can be bought": consulting, courses, methods, works.

4Desire · What Does It Look Like

Experience can be turned into money

Both ends are arranged

Don't burden your children

5Indicator · How to Calculate (calculate yourself, don't tell us)

Definition

Experience Monetization Degree · Insurance Coverage · High-Risk Asset Proportion

How to Calculate

Is someone willing to pay for your experience; Premium ÷ Annual Family Expenditure

Healthy Range

1 Paid Customer · Premium ≥ 5 Years of Expenditure · High-Risk ≤ (100−Age)%

6Gap · Divided into Three Levels

MildExperience not monetized → Find the first customer
ModerateExperience is only useful internally → Turn it into something externalizable
SevereNo accumulation + No guarantee → Protect the bottom line first

7Common Misconceptions · The Wrong Path

Experience is only useful internally — it becomes zero in a different environment

Waiting to be recognized by the company — the company's value system is not determined by you

Only do asset management and not ability — ability depreciation will be faster

Buy insurance as an investment — insurance coverage is not enough

Give assets to your children too early — lose control

8The Right Path

Ask three questions: Can my experience be used in a different company/industry/sold separately, can it still be used

If not, start externalizing it (write/speak/make a case)

Find the first person willing to pay for your experience

Check the premium: Is it enough for 5 years of family expenditure

High-risk assets ≤ (100−Age)%

Core Judgment: Asset = something that can continuously generate value. Not "how much money you have," but "what you can continuously produce."
Limitation: This is a judgment framework, not investment advice. Specific decisions should be made in consultation with licensed institutions.
