One's life, each stage has things to do and distances that can be calculated.
Both ends need attention, and the middle self is most easily ignored
It's not "don't know how to take care of them," but "I can't afford to be sick with both my parents and children to take care of."
Verification Signals (count as verified if two or more are met):
· Taking care of both parents and raising children at the same time
· Having ≥1 chronic disease not managed properly
· Not having a complete physical exam in the past year
Both myself and the elderly are stable
Don't have to run back and forth
Don't have health problems at this time
Definition
Personal chronic disease indicators · Parents' medical visits · Personal sleep duration
How to measure
Check yourself once every quarter; record parents' visits and medication
Healthy Range
Personal indicators meet standards · Parents have clear medication and follow-up plans · Sleep ≥7 hours
Take care of the elderly and children first, and myself last —— If the caregiver collapses, the whole family is in chaos
Take fatigue as normal —— Fatigue after 40 may be heart, thyroid, anemia problems
Don't take parents to the hospital and drag it on —— Find a way to convince them, don't let them do as they please
Not taking medication regularly —— Chronic disease management is most afraid of missing medication
Not telling family —— Carrying it alone is the easiest to cause accidents
Establish a health file for both myself and my parents (indicators, medication, follow-up time)
Make a list of common medications for parents and carry it with you
Have a complete physical exam once a year, don't omit it
Find someone who can share the burden (siblings/nannies/community)
Make it clear to family: "I also need to be taken care of"
These are directions and judgments, not diagnoses. Decisions involving medication, examination, and surgery must be made by doctors.
