How to write a product page

2026-10-19 · InfoGap

The order that works

  1. The outcome, in the buyer's words, in the first line.
  2. What exactly they get — size, format, timing.
  3. The price, visible without scrolling.
  4. What it does not do.
  5. How to buy, with no form between them and the decision.

Why the limits section sells

Because it proves you have used the thing. A page with no caveats reads as untested, and buyers discount untested claims heavily.

What to remove

Testimonials from people nobody can check, counters of users you cannot name, and any sentence beginning "we are passionate". None of them help a stranger decide.

The single measure

Time from landing to understanding what is sold. If it is longer than a few seconds, the page is losing people who would have bought.
