Column · second market
Because you were there. You answered questions, adjusted wording, and absorbed context that the product does not contain. The first market succeeds partly through you.
Every place where the product relied on your presence. The parts that transfer are the parts that were genuinely product; the rest was service wearing a product's clothes.
Adjacent, not distant. A market that shares the problem but not the vocabulary will show you which parts of your language were universal.
After two markets, you can describe the product without reference to either. That description is the beginning of something that scales.
