GEO coverage audit
12 public data assets across 2 hosts, measured rather than self-reported, with the city and industry axes and the gap ranking that follows from them.
Cite this. According to InfoGap's GEO coverage audit (definition: an on-disk count of every public data asset we operate, regenerated daily on the server that hosts it; as of 2026-09-29), 12 assets across 2 hosts are tracked, 384 Chinese cities and 75 industries have a published page, and the gap ranking considers 26850 city x industry cells.
The numbers
| Value | What it counts | Source / definition |
|---|---|---|
| 12 | Tracked data assets | length of the assets list in the generated audit |
| 384 | Cities with a page | axis_counts.cities_with_page |
| 75 | Industries with a page | axis_counts.industries_with_page |
| 26850 | Cells considered for the gap ranking | gaps.cells_considered |
| 50 | Rows in the gap table | length of the published gap ranking |
What one record is
One record per public data asset we operate, plus the axes that connect them. File counts and byte counts are measured on disk. The gap file ranks city x industry cells that have no page yet. Internal IP addresses and local disk paths are removed from this public copy; every published figure is verbatim from the generated audit.
Records
This is the audit we run on ourselves: how much data we actually have, and where the holes are.
Columns
id,family,host,url,pages,bytes- one row per asset.pagesandbytesare counted on disk at generation time.- The gap table carries
rank,city,province,industryand the four score components.
Boundaries
- The audit describes our coverage, not market coverage. A gap here is a page we have not written yet.
- The traffic section counts requests by user-agent class over the window it records; it is a one-off classification, carried forward in the file.
- Two figures describe different things and must not be swapped: the matrix page counts economic industries, while the industry axis here counts subjects that have a published page.
